I am a client of Sage Fitness of New Paltz and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy working out there. I have met so many new friends who are all working out with Anna. Anna has changed my life by showing me how to exercise correctly, how to eat better and how to journal my food intake. By doing all these things daily, I have lost weight and inches and have so much more energy now. I hated to exercise and God only knows I've been on every diet there is BUT, I don't diet now I just eat better food. When I first met Anna I told her I wanted to be passionate about exercising and getting healthy and she told me I would, once I started her program! Well, here I am 6 months later and I'm living proof of it. I love working out now and it has become my passion......I love the way I feel afterward and on top of everything Anna praises you each and every workout session. She definitely keeps us motivated and she encourages every client to do their best and to never give up on yourself. She is truly amazing and I am so lucky to have her in my NEW life. I can't believe I'm saying this....I actually like working out now. I have learned so much from Anna. She has helped me to make healthier food choices through a food log. Now it's hard for me to enjoy my sweets. When training with her I like that the workouts are always changing so I'm being challenged and pushed out of my comfort zone. My goal is to get arms like hers. She is a wonderful person as well as trainer. I'm so glad I found Sage Fitness.

Working out at Sage Fitness with Anna has help me achieve more in five months than the previous five years going to a local "big box" gym. Anna can really help you go past what you thought was your limit, and gain the maximum benefit of each work out. I have lost 20 pounds since I started at Sage.

Hi, My name is Joan Byers. I am morbidly obese and have been for many years. However, now that I am working with Anna I feel for the first time that I am on my way to a healthy and happy life. I cannot say how much I appreciate all that she is doing for me. I am in the midst of a life changing experience and it's all due to the help I'm getting from Anna. Thanks ever so!!!

Are the classes at the Studio providing you with the type of exercises that you enjoy?

I love the Pilates class. It’s within my comfort and ability level. I like the pace, calmness, and the quietness of Pilates. I feel stronger now that I’ve been doing it for a while. You have structured the class to enable me to be successful and make progress. I like the concept of strengthening my core. It seems to translate into other parts of my body and life!


I enjoy what the strengthening classes do for me. I can’t honestly say that I enjoy every part of every class. I understand that I need to do these to build strength, flexibility, and balance. That is why I take these classes. I like that you offer several classes during the week, so that I can choose a class that is convenient. You take care to offer each of us support so that we exercise effectively and safely. I can see that I’m making progress, especially since I couldn’t even make it through a whole session initially. That makes me feel stronger and more capable physically. I like that you “mix things up” using different equipment and moves. Yet, there are effective underlying principles that are always present. I can hear your voice. “Hold your belly button in.” “ Keep your knees bent.”

Would you recommend Sage Fitness to a friend?

Absolutely. In fact, I’ve recommended Sage Fitness to several friends. You have established a fine alternative for people like me who want to exercise regularly and have the guidance of an experienced, knowledgeable, and caring trainer. You are indeed unique in the manner in which you demonstrate high standards and expectations for yourself and for your clients.

Please know that you are having an amazing effect on my life right now as I FINALLY (and painfully) face up to the reality of how out of shape I am; but on the other hand, I am so happy to have found a solution that works for me & am so enjoying being under your guidance! I've been working with Anna for just over a year and the experience has changed my life. I have a new awareness of what it can mean to eat well and keep active. I feel stronger, more energetic, and more positive about myself. I need to attend regular personal training sessions and group classes to keep disciplined - and they are hard but fun! I lost 13-15 lbs, only gained one or two back, and can run up the stairs now without getting out of breath! If I have to warn you about one thing - it's that clothes will fit better and now I can't stop shopping!
